The daily program offered at the Bloomfield Nursery School is play based and flexible, yet planned. The program may vary from day to day but all children are exposed to art and project activities during the day, as well as music, fine and gross motor activities, language development and auditory activities.



9:30-10:05 a.m. Arrival and free play
10:05-10:10 a.m. Clean up
10:15-10:30 a.m. Circle time
10:30-10:35 a.m. Wash hands and prepare for snack time
10:35-10:45 a.m. Snack time
10:45-11:00 a.m. Project time
11:00-11:30 a.m. Outdoor play if weather permits

(As a courtesy, please let us know in advance if your child will be late or not attending school on a certain day, as this affects the planning of activities and the preparation of materials for the day. )

  • Linda Miller

    3-Year-Old Program Teacher
    Linda Miller has been teaching at Bloomfield Nursery School since 2009. She attended Suny Sullivan, where she studied Early Childhood Education. She grew up in Bloomfield and resides in Ionia with her husband and two daughters. Linda feels Bloomfield is a wonderful community in which to raise children. Linda strives to present a positive and nurturing atmosphere within the Bloomfield Nursery School. She inspires her students to be creative, to be themselves and to develop a love of learning. Linda says that the Bloomfield Nursery School is a unique co-op experience where the parents and the teacher can work together to provide a safe and wonderful educational experience for the children.
